SAP Analytics Cloud

SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is SAP’s integrated cloud platform for business intelligence (BI), planning, predictive analytics and advanced data visualization. It was developed to bundle all of a company’s analytical requirements on a central platform – and to support both strategic and operational decisions.

In the area of group consolidation, SAC is mainly used for:

• Management reporting at Group level
• Analysis of consolidation results
• Deviation analyses
• Plan consolidation (in combination with SAP Group Reporting)

Yes, SAP SAC can be fully integrated with both SAP Group Reporting and SAP BCS/4HANA.

For SAP Group Reporting:

• Use of SAP content packages, e.g. “Group Financial Planning”, with predefined reports and dashboards.
• Consolidated actual and plan data (via planning interface) can be analyzed in combination.

For SAP BCS/4HANA:
